WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF HELL?

Nothing like an easy mission . . .

To a trained federal agent or special forces operator, there’s nothing quite like the occasional ‘easy breather,’ a mission with little or no risk that can be done in your sleep. Federal Agent Jubal Stone has been stuck doing uninspiring desk work for the past year, but all that changes in a thundering heartbeat.

After the last rebel angel falls from Heaven to Earth imprisoned inside a meteorite, Federal Agent Jubal Stone is tasked with apprehending him and delivering him to a transfer station where he will be sent into Hell.

What does it mean to be sent into Hell?

According to traditional doctrine, the Bible describes Hell as a place of eternal punishment for those judged unworthy of Heaven. It has been called many things, including: The Second Death, The Lake of Fire, and the Place of Weeping and Torment. It’s certainly no picnic and (at least according to the Bible) there’s definitely no future in it.

But how and by who was Hell created?

Author Ron Rhodes, in his The Big Book of Bible Answers says that “hell was not part of God’s original creation, which He called ‘good’ (Genesis 1). Hell was created later to accommodate the banishment of Satan and his fallen angels who rebelled against God (Matthew 24:41). Human beings who reject Christ will join Satan and his fallen angels in this infernal place of suffering.”

So, we know that Hell did not come into existence along with the rest of the universe during God’s original creation spree, and that God is the creator of this accursed place which was crafted for the express purpose of imprisoning those He has judged unworthy.

Why was Hell created and what surprising future purpose will it serve?

The Bible is pretty clear that Hell was created as a place for the damned to suffer for eternity, but does not offer anything more than that regarding its purpose.

In the debut novel of the Jubal Stone Series, The Last Angel To Fall, Jubal Stone learns the shocking truth of how and why this place of the damned was created from a woman who was born in Hell. Jubal isn’t sure he can trust this woman, but the answer he receives regarding the origin of Hell and its future purpose shocks him.

Hell has become more than it was invented to be. It has evolved into the ultimate test of humankind and presents an opportunity for the future of our species. It is an opportunity Jubal Stone will discover in the sequel novel, but one that can only be realized by physically going into Hell.

The sequel novel to The Last Angel To Fall is being written right now.
